Single mother of octuplets Nadya Suleman faces an audience for the first time as she sits down with Dr. Phil to discuss the rampant rumors: the million-dollar offer to star in a pornographic video, her frantic 911 calls, the departure of her second spokesperson and the alleged sale of the octuplets’ birth video. Plus, hear about exciting new developments in the care of Nadya’s 14 children. Go inside Dr. Phil’s private meeting with the octuplets mom, attorney Gloria Allred and the founders of Angels in Waiting, a non-profit organization that has offered professional wrap-around care for all 14 of Nadya’s children. Will Nadya accept the help? And, Nadya has a new house, but this family’s needs are far from met. With the first of the octuplets ready to leave the hospital soon, will Nadya and her new home be ready in time? And, don’t miss the continuation of this two-part special on Wednesday, when Dr. Phil meets the octuplets and delivers a big surprise for Nadya. Tell us what you think!

Find out what happened on the show.

I am so confused by this woman. She says one thing one day and says another the next. I understand that people make mistakes but seriously? I have four children. Two of which spent time in the NICU before coming home and it was difficult with one at a time let alone 8 plus 6 more at home. I am very confused by her. I hope she is able to get the help she needs and realizes how much her life isn't about her but her children.

I find this whole situation disgraceful.  My husband & I have been married for 23 years. We have one disabled daughter that we have had to raise on our own. We were promised state help but never, ever got it.

We had to pay for the modifications to her car. We are buying our own home. Noone gave us free daycare or a free house. She should not be allowed to have these children. & She certainly shouldn't be rewarded for this.

And you all are condoning this by encouraging us to give donations. Gimme a break. I could use some charity.

Doesn't that begin at home.

If I could still have kids I'd go get a few different baby daddys, pop out some kids & go on welfare & hit a different daddy up on their payday.

Reward for irresponsible, selfish behavior

I watched most of the show today but had to turn it off I'm so mad. First, I would never deny these poor children the help they need, God knows they'll need it, but there are thousands, maybe millions. of people dealing with disabled children or ill spouses who can't get any help at all. Most insurance doesn't cover in-home care and to pay for it is not in most people's budgets.

When my father in law suffered brain damage because of encephalitis, then had a heart attack, then a stroke, he shouldn't have been home alone. But my mother in law had to work because her insurance covered him, and she couldn't afford to have a full time day care provider with him. So, she had to leave him alone every day never knowing what she'd find when she got home.

My point is, if you're an average, working or middle class person who works hard all your life and someone in your family becomes chronically ill and needs full-time care, you're screwed. But have 14 babies and "everything will just fall into place.:" How great for her.

The deatails of this story are becoming stranger and stranger!  This morning, I read her father was buying her a $560,000. + house. One thing caught my attention.... Nadya and her mother both share the last name Suleman but her "father's" last name is Doud. I am very curious! And, wasn't it just a few weeks ago he said he only had $100 in his bank account?

The "MOM".

Earlier today on Good Morning America I heard a story about this Octuplet "MOM". It is to my understanding that a private person id giving her a 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house.WTF! Most other Americans are loosing their jobs, houses, as well as other properties. How is she going to pay for these children's needs? Oh wait she's on welfare at the California taxpayers expenses. She is going to need to pay for food, clothes, furniture, appliances, drinks, nanny's (help period), mortgage, utilities. California Department of Social Services isn't going to pay for it forever. Her own mother stated it was too much of a burden for herself, and thats without the additional 8 children. The Octuplets should have been separated to good homes throughout the country and taken away from Nadya for being an irresponsible parent. I mean what the H*LL was she thinking having all those embryos implanted in herself after the last outcome. Plus not to mention all her run-ins with the law over her not being able to take care of here other kids.

While there is a part of me that does not want to unjustly punish the children in this story by refusing help to this "family", there is another HUGE part of me that thinks that if you get yourself  into this type of situation, it is no longer my responsibility to bail you out.   And I am really disappointed in Dr. Phil for continuing to water my leg and tell me it's raining.  This woman is nuts.  She is self absorbed and delusional.  I keep hearing Dr. Phil saying it's time for common sense to make a comeback....yeah.  It has.  And it starts with me not wanting to pay for other people's selfish indulgences.  I'm just sick of working all day, and a lot of nights and weekends for that matter, trying to do the right thing, and going home to find a cut-off notice for my light bill.  It's not been this way forever.  I was very calculated in how I spent my youth, making sure I got to go to college and then graduate school, I purposefully did NOT get pregnant when I couldn't afford kids, and I'm tired of supporting others who think that giving birth is some sort of game.  Sorry, but unless someone crawls out of the woodwork to start helping me in my everyday struggles, my dontation dime is suspended indefinitely.  And I'm not saying that to be spiteful, but I think that I speak for a lot of people who are just fed up with helping people through their stupidity only to suffer on the homefront.  Done.

I watch the Dr. Phil on a somewhat regular basis-- I am interested in most of the subjects that are addressed, however, I am bothered immensely at the fact that you (Dr. Phil) are promoting or even advertising the "Oct-Mom".  Being a triplet, I have some idea of the extent to which multiples can effect a family.  I am irritated that you are supporting this woman because not only does she have her hands full with many other children that she can't support, she is on welfare.  It's people like her who ultimately have to be supported by the taxpayers or by the people who have health insurance and are responsible for paying the medical bills (with higher costs of insurance).  I think you should be reprimanding this woman's entire situtation and behavior instead of condoning it and exploiting it.  I have no sympathy for Oct-Mom and believe that there should be regulations on who can be pumped full of fertility drugs.

Dr. Phil-- I am dissappointed that you are even inviting this woman to be on your show.

I have always had so much respect for Dr. Phil and the fact that he calls people out on their rediculous activities!  He has always been such an advocate of children! Yet, here has the perfect opportunity to ask this women the questions we have been wanting to ask and call her out on her IRRESPONSIBLE behavior and yet, it seems as though he's promoting it!

I lost a bit of respect for you today Dr. Phil!

To the woman with 14 kids

I have 2 kids of my own and it is hard to take care of them. I think that the woman with 14 kids should wake up and relize what she is doing to all of her kids. I think that all of her kids need to be in better homes, where there are good people that can take care of them. I really don't think she needs to keep her kids, there are woman out there that can't have kids, also couples out there too. Just wake up! U need to get profassnal and mental help. I think she don't need her kids, she put all 14 kids thru hell, there are no kids in the world need to be put through all the crap.

I Have 3 children of my own so i know how much love there is , but come one , when you allow yourself to bring 14 children in to the world and not even know where they will live or what they will eat!  She has taken away from all of those children because she is SO NOT capable  of taking care of 8 newborns and 6 other children BY HER SELF! This  world is not for free hand outs and i think she is being selfish to all her children for her needs of having all the love and wanting to raise so many kids!   None of those children will be able to have a normal  life because she has soooo many that its not possible for her to give them a great life, at least on her own , she will have to say that tons of strangers had to help her because of her careless mistakes! I wish the best for the CHILDREN !!!

I think your right she needs to wake up.
