Rose-colored glasses or what?

Dr Phil,

I thought you were better at seeing through people who are on your program. This woman has not answered a single question directly. She talks over you when you ask the question and then says whatever she thinks you want to hear. I've seen you talk "straight talk" to many many guests on your program but you seem willing to let this woman talk in circles and actually lead you to believe that she is the real deal.

What do you really know about her?  What is her real relationship with her father? Where do these people come from? Is she an American citizen?  Where did she spend her childhood?  Did she graduate with a h.s. diploma?  Where is she going to college and how close is she to graduating?

You skimmed over her answer that her therapy is with her class at school.  COME ON. She didn't just start being crazy. She has been in a fairy world for a long time. It is a miracle to me that her first litter have progressed past infancy.

More questions: What work was she doing when she had her "injury". What work does she do at all? Does she live on disability as well as every other government hand-out she can get?

I suspected she would find some reason to dump the generous offer of the Caring Nurses.  At this writing I understand she has already done that. Can you find a place for her children (all of them) to go and get away from her permanently even.   She is not interested in nurturing those children as can be seen by her disregard for the older children  She is only about herself.  She is a danger to those poor babes. Her desire for publicity is more dear to her than her children.  I would not be surprised to hear that she will pose for nude photos just to get attention and, of course, MONEY.

Your generousity has been well-intended.  Though some say possibly self-serving. But now you need to get real and admit she has hooked you into her web of deceit and has embarrased you and all of those other well-meaning people. Stop coddling and call her bluff once and for all.

She just fired Angels in Waiting?!!!!

MSN reported today that Nadya has fired Angels in Waiting for allegedly "spying" on her. Apparently they have filed a report with child protective services. Is this a surprise to anyone????

Okay. I have to speak, now! I took time to register just to do this. It is NOT my thing. But, now this woman has fired the best help she had. Please, won't her city's welfare services for once and all step in?? She is clearly unstable. Here is a point I've not seen raised...what legitamate and worthy company, clinic, whatever, will ever hire this woman, if she DOES miraculously graduate? Would anyone out there want this woman for a counselor? I was in this field, so I think I am safe to say a resounding NOOOOOOO. Dr. Phil, you have become an enabler to this woman. I don't care what you say about 'thinking of the children, now'. Most of us are thinking of the children and say that human services needs to take them permantly from her to be adopted out. My grand-daughter adopted two children, she had previously fostered, and given them wonderful, happy homes. She has two of her own, so it was not because she was needy, but because those babies had unstable, unfit parents. She actually keeps them in touch with their other siblings and grand-parents. These babies should have the same opportunity. It is sad, but not the end of the world, if they are separated. They certainly have a better chance, that way. Good grief, Dr. Phil, what the heck are you thinking???

Nadya Suleman has fired a nonprofit group of nurses that helped care for her children

Octuplets mother Nadya Suleman has fired a nonprofit group of nurses that helped care for her children, accusing the group of spying on her and reporting her to child welfare officials, her spokesman said Monday.

Suleman attorney Jeff Czech said the relationship started badly between Suleman and Angels in Waiting, which has been training nannies paid by Suleman at the family's La Habra home.

Last month an attorney for Angels in Waiting filed a complaint against Suleman with child welfare officials, seeking an investigation into whether the mother could provide a suitable environment for her 14 children.

Suleman later had several confrontations with the nurses, Czech said, and the situation grew unbearable Sunday when Suleman came to believe that Angels in Waiting founder Linda West-Conforti was allegedly filing a report against her with child welfare officials.

"It started out adversarial and never really resolved itself," Czech told The Associated Press. "Nadya felt that she was being judged wrongfully and she didn't need it. All it did was make a difficult situation worse."

Czech did not detail the complaint and lawyer Gloria Allred, who represents the nurses' group, refused comment Monday, saying more details will be released Tuesday.

A call to the Orange County Department of Children and Family Services was not immediately returned, but child welfare cases are typically kept private to protect the identities of the children involved.

Angels in Waiting had initially offered to provide around-the-clock care, to be paid for by public donations, but later scaled back its offer to only provide training to Suleman's nannies. Suleman has said the offer was changed because the group wasn't receiving donations, but Allred has denied that claim.

Czech said that Suleman will have her nannies trained by nurses from the Kaiser Permanente Bellflower Medical Center, where the octuplets were born on Jan. 26. Kaiser spokesman Jim Anderson said the hospital sends out home health nurses to provide training and guidance to new mothers, and at least two such visits have been made to the Suleman home. Anderson said he was not sure how much the program costs.

Four of the octuplets are home from the hospital, and Suleman has six other children.

'Loving' her children?

This is the saddest 'birth' event I have ever been witness to!

I'm so glad that Dr.Phil and his Crew have backed off!  It is now in the hands of the 'mother', a term I will use loosely when refering to 'octomom'.  I must confess to being a little envious of the help She is receiving, although grateful, especially for the children!  We are raising two teenagers at the moment and are grieving the loss of our oldest at the tender age of ten!  So when I see this kind of 'parenting', I feel so sad for the first, second and third child, let alone the other three children plus eight.  The way I see it, is, she should have been technically be exhausted before becoming pregnant again!  I have put so much energy into my parenting, that I have to remind myself to take care of me!  I too loved being pregnant, giving birth, and raising three toddlers with moderate help.  Yet this 'ova vessel' has the audacity to continue ignoring the basic needs of her existing sad.  I still want to feel some compassion for her but she is just not getting it!  If you are reading this Nadya...please come back to Earth because you are dealing a major blow to all your children!  It is not about you anymoreYou need therapy!
