(Original Air Date: 11/30/07) It's Ask Dr. Phil and Robin Day! From a Dancing with the Stars hunk to a reformed wild child, they answer all kinds of questions. First up, Derren says he's allergic to his girlfriend, Ana. Every time they see each other, he breaks out in hives, gets itchy eyes and suffers migraines. Is breaking up their only solution? Next, 25 million people watched Abercrombie & Fitch model, Albert Reed, cha cha his way to the top on Dancing with the Stars. How is he coping with his newfound fame? Then, partying all night on the beach, girls, drinking ... This kind of spring break may be the biggest dream for a teenage boy, but it's a mother's worst fear. Penny says no way is her 17-year-old son going on a spring break trip. Her husband says what's the big deal? What do Dr. Phil and Robin think? And, Kristin says her wild days are long gone, but the four tattoos she embellished her body with are a constant reminder of her past. How can she accept what she calls her "tramp stamp" and move forward? Plus, go behind the scenes and learn how Dr. Phil is produced, and it caused a sensation on YouTube, now don't miss the mom anthem performed for the first time live on TV! Join the discussion.

Find out what happened on the show.

11/30 Ask Dr. Phil and Robin

OMG that 21 year old, he was just not my favorite....He is too sure of him self and was too proud.

He was there to use the show to be famous I never saw him before. Anyway when Robin sat next to him by accident he seem to be annoyed or some thing instead of that he could have some sense of humor.  m

Dr.Phil made me laugh when he pulled Robin closer to him.

P.S: Jay is cute. The younger one also very nice.

Natalie Holloway! Did Dr Phil forget about her, when he "advised" that boy's mother to let him go on an unchaperoned spring break? She was 18, the age at which the brain finally finishes growing. And, look what happened to her. She still used some really poor judgement.  And, got into a situation that turned deadly. That boy's brain is still growing. And, his "not really' answer didn't seem to satisfy Dr Phil that he wouldn't drink. It's unbelievable that parents would send their underage kids to a week-long gathering where drinking is almost mandatory. And, that Dr Phil would tell a mother that she ought to let her kid go. Especially after the shows he's done, outlining the dangers of spring break.

Just a little FYI, the brain is not finished growing at age 18.  We were just talking about this in one of my classes at the college I attend.  The brain actually does not finish growing completely until mid-twenties.  Either way, I don't think any 17-year old needs to go to spring break.  Really, I don't think that anyone needs to go period.  I know that I would not allow either of my daughters to go, even if they were over 18.  It would be very strongly discouraged, and I sure would not be financing the trip.  The drinking does bother me, but the stripping just to say you did it bothers me even more.  I have no respect for anyone, male or female, who takes their clothes off in public, or for money.  That includes strippers.

As for allergy guy, it is possible to develop an allergy to a spouse or significant other.  It is not a physical allergy, though, it is psychological.  Usually it is a subconscious problem from one's past that can cause a physical reaction.  It can be "cured", but you have to get to the root of the problem.  I can back this up from a class I am taking right now, and it is very interesting all of the things that can happen in different relationships.

Also, I love the mom song!!!!  I got it in an email a couple of months ago, and boy did it hit home.  I think my mother said every one of those things to me when I was a kid, and I find myself saying the same things to my kids.  It is so true.

Spring Break

I think Dr. Phil is way off on the Spring break advice. I was one of the good kids that my parents fully trusted. They allowed me to go to spring break cancun without any problems. I did get into "trouble", nothing that left a trace, like Dr. Phil said, but I had never drank before I went. While their I got drunk, made horrible decision, went alone to the beach with boys...etc. Very dangerous behavior. I am very lucky nothing serious happened to me, but I will NEVER let my kids go on a "typical" spring break vacation.

The mom should stick to her guns on this one. Maybe let her son go on some other type of fun trip, but not to a typical spring break location!!

please stop compramizing

Showing the Dancing with the Stars people in those clothes or lack of clothes in that kind of dancing is not Godly! You do so much good you do not need to compramize like this playing the worldly games! The Lord could use you to have such a wonderful Godly impact in this world if you show them what Godliness really is! Please stop compramizing!

The singing MOM was marveles. ...Get a life, get a PHD, because, because, because, because ,

  I am MOM!!!!

It was great ,she should have a record and it would sold out. All the parents can use a copy to help them teach the kids the right way.

It is nice if the people see your kids and they say ;"The kids are well brought up!"...

Dr. PHil do as you preach

Quote From: considerthis

AMEN! Why does the son want to go knowing what is going on there? Thank God thier sons made it threw it, that does not mean this young man will! How about asking people who went who now have children? Would they ley thier child? My 32 year old who went says no way would I let my child!

Dr. Phil if this young boyshould be trusted on spring break, why not trust Robin to sit ext to the cha cha dancer? Ummhummm did i touch a nerve???

That was poor advice. No point encouraging innocent kids to be in environments that have no sensible contribution to their development. Ignorance is not a bliss, it is a shame, guide our children Dr. Phil don't try to sound politically correct.

Tattoos can become a mark of grace

To the young lady who regrets her tattoos:  These tattoos can become an opportunity to demonstrate how God has shown his forgiveness, grace, and redemption in your life.  When you see that someone is noticing your tattoos, why not say, "I see that you are noticing my tattoos.  God has been very gracious to me, and though I regret the life I lived in my teens, I am so grateful to Him for the way He has changed my life.  My tattoos are a reminder of how wonderful his love is!"  Remember:  She who is forgiven much, loves much!  (Luke 7).

Black Robin

Cute show today.  It's nice to have a litehearted show once in a while. I just can't help wondering why Robin wears black ALL THE TIME.  Is she Goth, in mourning or imitating Johnny Cash??? How boring! It's a shame too because with her coloring, she'd look beautiful in golds, greens, all the fall colors.

Spring Break

Disagree - why let these guys go get drunk and have a week of sex and wild parties? He could be slipped drugs or anything.

Didn't one girl disappear while on Spring break?

Where are chaperones and counselors?

That Mom is right.
